Introducing the 2024 Lynk & Co 01, a refreshed iteration of the popular compact SUV that made its debut in 2017. This year, Lynk & Co has unveiled four variants of the new model in China, featuring price points ranging from $21,500 to $27,100. While the exterior and interior design remain largely unchanged, notable enhancements have been made to the configurations.
Originally launched as the brand's inaugural model, the Lynk & Co 01 has steadily gained traction, with 14,136 units sold just last year. Despite its roots as an internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle, the series now offers additional variants, including the 01 EM-P (PHEV) and 01 EM-F (HEV).
Maintaining its stature as a compact SUV, the 2024 Lynk & Co 01 boasts dimensions of 4549 mm in length, 1860 mm in width, 1689 mm in height, and a wheelbase spanning 2734 mm. Built upon the CMA platform, this iteration retains the familiar design cues of its predecessor, complemented by a fresh green exterior color option.
Inside the cabin, occupants are greeted by a 12.8-inch central control screen and a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, seamlessly integrated with the LYNK OS N operating system and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. Depending on the chosen model, a range of configurations is available, including features like a heated steering wheel, full-color W-HUD, driving recorder, driver fatigue monitoring, and wireless charging capabilities.
Safety remains a paramount focus, with the 2024 Lynk & Co 01 offering up to 24 advanced driving assistance functions. Utilizing a combination of five cameras, one millimeter-wave radar, and four ultrasonic radars (or up to 12 for high-end models), these functions encompass a comprehensive suite of features such as traffic sign recognition, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and autonomous parking assistance.
Under the hood, the original 1.5T engine has been replaced across the entire series with a Drive-E 2.0TD T5 engine, delivering robust performance with outputs of 255 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, paired with an Aisin 8AT transmission. High-end models boast a top speed of 220 km/h, while their low-end counterparts cap at 210 km/h.
