In South Korea, where the tiny car is marketed as the Avante, Hyundai has covertly posted the first photographs of the mildly revised Elantra on its website.
The sedan's front end has seen the most alterations, giving it a more sophisticated and serious appearance. The updated front end features a new set of headlights that are connected by a trim piece and are oriented more horizontally, a narrow grille that is now separated from the lower intake, and sportier-looking faux side bumper intakes that are enclosed in trim pieces with black finish. At the back, where the Elantra's taillights appear to have been carried over, not much is happening. With the addition of a faux diffuser, the bumper does appear to be different.
Inside, Hyundai kept the digital cockpit with dual 10.25-inch screens in the same panel, so not much has changed. The new Sage Green upholstery, which is apparent on the seats, center console, and door panels, is the only noticeable improvement.
The facelifted Hyundai Avante's technical details will be revealed at a later time because this was only a design sneak peek. The departing model is offered in ICE-powered and hybrid configurations, with the sportier N Line and full-blown N being more performance-oriented.
In Australia and New Zealand, the 2024 Hyundai Elantra is also known as an i30 Sedan.
