The Mercedes EQE Sedan has been revealed as a mid-sized four-door that will compete with a variety of electric vehicles, including the similarly-sized Tesla Model S and the forthcoming Audi A6 e-Tron.

The EQE Sedan's total length is 4,934 mm, which is much less than the EQS Sedan's overall length of 5,265 mm.

The EQE Sedan is visually similar to the bigger EQS Sedan. A huge black slab with the Mercedes emblem and diamond star design replaces the grille at the front. A full-width LED rear light is also included.

The optional AMG Line trim level upgrades the EQE 350 with new bumpers, bigger wheels, and sports bucket seats.

The MBUX Hyperscreen, which debuted on the EQS Sedan, dominates the cabin. With biometric identification and augmented-reality navigation, technology takes center stage even more.

The EQE Sedan is powered by a 90.6 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive, and an electric motor with 288 horsepower and 530 Nm. Later on, 4Matic all-wheel drive, which adds an additional motor upfront, will be available as an option.

On the WLTP cycle, the EQE Sedan has a range of 660 km.

The EQE Sedan, like the EQS Sedan, is available with adjustable air suspension and four-wheel steering.

For the 2023 model year, production will begin in mid-2022 at Mercedes' Bremen facility for Europe and the United States, with Chinese market versions built domestically.
