While it is about three years that the latest generation of Toyota Crown is with us, Toyota has introduced an updated version of this luxury sedan for 2021.
In terms of design, the 2021 Toyota Crown is not that different from the past but buyers now can order new colors for the body. The biggest change is inside the cabin where the whole dashboard is redesigned and there are new air vents that are completely different from the previous model. Toyota also redesigned the HVAC controller to make it easier to work for the driver.
On the top of the air vents, there is a 12.3-inch TFT touchscreen with physical buttons and smartphone connection capability. Other highlights are the three-spoke multi-function steering wheel& carbon trim and leather option.
On the safety side, the 2021 Toyota Crown comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense package that includes adaptive cruise control, pre-crash safety with day- and nighttime pedestrian detection and daytime cyclist detection, and etc.
Under the hood, there are three engine options. The first engine is 2.5-liter petrol with 222 hp, the second one is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 241 hp and the last one is a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 with 354 hp.
The 2021 Toyota Crown is available with a base price of $46,762 in JDM and the highest trim its price can reach to $70,567.
