Toyota C-HR buyers in Europe can get their 2021 C-HR with the new GR Sport trim from January. The GR Sport version not only benefits some exterior and interior updates but it also offers a tuned suspension and steering system.
In terms of exterior design, the 2021 Toyota C-HR GR Sport offers a black grille, new front splitter, a new set of 19--inch wheels with Continental Premium Contact 6 tires, and black roof.
Changes inside the cabin also include Alcantara and leather or fabric seat upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift lever, red stitching, a GR start-up animation in the TFT screen, a JBL premium audio system, powered and heated front seats, auto-folding side mirrors, rear privacy glass, smart entry and LED high beam headlamps.
On the safety side, the 2021 Toyota C-HR GR Sport comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense suite that contains emergency steering assist, pedestrian and intersection turn assist, lane trace assist, and adaptive cruise control.
While the C-HR is available with a 1.8-liter hybrid unit, European buyers can get a new 2.0-liter hybrid engine with 181 hp as well.
