2021 Toyota Avalon To Get A AWD System

While Chevrolet and ford are left the large sedan segment in the U.S market, Toyota is planning to update its lineup in the segment by introducing a four-wheel drive version of the 2021 Avalon.

Buyers can opt the AWD system for 2021 model Avalon. The AWD system can send up to 50 percent of the power to rear wheels in slippery conditions in order to provide more traction and stability for the car.

Engines

Buyers who desire to get a AWD sedan will get a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 205 hp and 251 NM of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

There is an sport version for Avalon called Avalon TRD. The TRD version benefits from a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 301 hp and 362 nm of torque. While the engine seems to be the same as before but the new TRD version benefits the sport exhaust system, lower suspension and bigger brakes.

The TRD version also features some visual updates like aerodynamic body kit, front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser.

Environment friendly buyers can go for the hybrid version with 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine With two electric motors. it can produce 215 horsepower.

the 2021 model The Nightshade Edition is available. This trim includes black grille, black mirror caps and black rear spoiler. And Nightshade Edition comes with 19-inch alloy wheels with black-painted finish as standard.
