2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS Pricing Detailed, Starts From $160K

Mercedes-Maybach introduced its most luxurious SUV Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS 600 4Matic and it is coming to the U.S. market by the end of this year. Pricing for Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4Matic starts from $160k which is almost twice a price of a regular Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4Matic.

The GLS 600 benefits some visual updates over the regular Mercede Benz Version and it benefits revised grille with new hood. There are also new set of 22-inch alloy wheels as standard and 23-inch two-tone colored wheels as an option.

Inside the cabin, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 has two captain seats at the rear that are separated by a center console. The sheets feature eating, ventilation and massage functions, there is a retractable table inside the center console as well. Other highlights include a 7-inch tablet, a four-zone climate control system, Nappa leather roof liner, Burmester 3D surround sound system, 12.3-inch displays, and an optional refrigerated compartment for bubbly.

Engine

Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 has a 4.0-liter twin turbocharged V8 engine with 550 hp and 729 nm of torque. The SUV also benefits an EQ Boost starter generator with 21 hp and 249 nm of torque. Despite the big size and heavy weight, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 can accelerate from 0-100 kph in 4.8 seconds.

Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is now available as a main rival to Bentley Bentayaga.
