Honda Civic loses manual transmission for the 2021 model. By this update, the 2021 Honda Civic will join the 2021 Honda Accord that is not available with a manual transmission option anymore.

Previously Honda Accord and Civic were available with manual 6-speed manual transmission on base trims but for 2021 there is only one option and that's the CVT automatic transmission. Lack of the manual transmission should be considered as the main update for the 2021 Civic but Honda also added $500 to the base price so the 2021 Civic sedan LX pricing starts from $21,050.
