Honda Civic loses manual transmission for the 2021 model. By this update, the 2021 Honda Civic will join the 2021 Honda Accord that is not available with a manual transmission option anymore.
Previously Honda Accord and Civic were available with manual 6-speed manual transmission on base trims but for 2021 there is only one option and that's the CVT automatic transmission. Lack of the manual transmission should be considered as the main update for the 2021 Civic but Honda also added $500 to the base price so the 2021 Civic sedan LX pricing starts from $21,050.
Under the hood, there's a 2-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that can produce 158 horsepower and 187 nm of torque for the extreme buyers get a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine with 174 hp and 219 nm of torque. By this update, the only way for manual shift lovers is to get the 2021 Civic hatchback which is still available with 6-speed manual transmission on the Sport or Sport Touring trims but the hatchback version is also cost more than the sedan version with a base price of $23,100 for the sport stream and $28,400 for the sport touring trim.
Very Nice look
