2021 Genesis GV70 Joins Australian Market, All Specs And Prices

The 2021 Genesis GV70 has been detailed for the Australian market, and pricing for the current GV70 has been revealed, ahead of its local showroom arrival in July 2021.

The 2021 Genesis GV70 will be available in four trim levels: 2.5T, 2.5T AWD, 2.2D AWD, and the top-of-the-line 3.5T AWD Sport.

Powertrain

The GV70 2.5T is powered by a 2.5-liter turbo petrol four-cylinder engine that generates 300hp and 422Nm of torque to the rear wheels, while the 2.5T AWD is available with all-wheel drive.

The GV70 2.2D AWD is the mid-level model, with a 2.2-later employ turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine producing 206hp and 440Nm of torque to all four wheels.

2021 Genesis GV70

The GV70 3.5T AWD is the top-of-the-line model, with a 3.5-litre twin-turbo petrol V6 engine generating 374hp and 530Nm of torque. This model has all-wheel drive and a rear electro-mechanical limited-slip differential for improved traction. The flagship 3.5T AWD has a 0-100km/h time of 5.1 seconds, according to Genesis.

The entire GV70 lineup is equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which is standard throughout the Genesis lineup.

Smart Interior

A panoramic sunroof, tri-zone climate control, ambient lighting, acoustic windscreen and front-door windows, leather interior, front power seats with heating and cooling, and reclining rear seats are all standard features on the GV70.

A 14.5-inch high-definition screen provides navigation, augmented reality, live traffic alerts, DAB+ wireless radio, handwriting recognition, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

If you add the $4500 Sport Line Package, you'll get Nappa leather with suede-appointed front sport seats, a suede headliner and pillars, a sports steering wheel, steel pedals, aluminum accents, sport gauges for oil temperature, torque, and boost pressure, and a 'Sport+' driving mode.
