2020 was not at all a good year for any markets. Though, it seems that Bentley hit the sale goal of year in the hard situation. This luxury British automaker has recently announced the sale rates of 2020 and as it is clear, new strategies for the year has not just more sales, but also Bentley expanded its boarders to the ancient Asia too.

COVID-19 changed every bodies plans. Bentley was also on the same boat but the total sales of 2020 shows that this company experienced 2% grow in the sale rates. In 2020 a total the total number of 11,206 cars were sold. This number was the highest sales performance in any of the luxury British marque’s 101 years.

Of course, this company wanted to do more but in order to obeying the social distances protocols, Bentley was shutdown for seven weeks and after that the production line was run with just 50 percent capacity for nine weeks. Beside all the hard situation the first market for this marque was America and also it hit the china’s market with an increase of 48 percent.

The main reason for this success can be a good number of new models, which go better with communities’ taste. For example, the model “Flying Spur” as presented to all around world, had a very good feedback. Adrian Hallmark, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors, said:

“As we look to the year ahead, we remain cautiously optimistic as much remains uncertain. One thing that doesn’t is our commitment to progress, the first step of which is the launch of the Bentayga Hybrid. This is one of nine new models we will launch this year as we continue on our Beyond100 strategic path and our accelerated journey towards becoming a fully electrified car company by 2030.”

Other models of Bentley with good records are Bentley Continental GT (24 per cent) and GT Convertible (15 per cent). In 2020 3,035 cars were delivered to America (five per cent increase) and also to China, 2,880 Cars (48 per cent increase). But surprisingly the Company in the homeland has experience a 22 percent drop in sale.
