Skoda has recently unveiled a refreshed version of its popular electric SUVs, the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe. This mid-cycle update introduces a host of enhancements, including refined styling, improved aerodynamics, advanced technology features, and extended driving range. Since its debut in 2020, followed by the coupe variant in 2022, the Enyaq has played a pivotal role in Skoda's ambitious electrification strategy.

The most striking changes are evident in the front fascia, where Skoda has implemented a sleeker, illuminated grille and incorporated innovative split headlights equipped with advanced LED Matrix technology. This updated design, aptly named the "Tech-Deck Face," combined with streamlined bumper intakes, imparts a more contemporary and refined appearance, drawing visual cues from the smaller E-Rok SUV. While the profile and rear design largely retain the Enyaq's distinctive silhouette, the subtle styling revisions contribute to significant functional improvements. Aerodynamic enhancements have resulted in a reduced drag coefficient, now at 0.245 cd for the standard Enyaq and an impressive 0.229 cd for the coupe variant. This aerodynamic efficiency not only contributes to improved fuel economy but also positions the Enyaq Coupe as the most aerodynamic vehicle in the entire Skoda lineup.

Stepping inside, the Enyaq now boasts an enhanced standard equipment list, including a user-friendly 5-inch digital instrument cluster, a responsive 13-inch infotainment display, and a host of comfort features such as heated seats and steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, and convenient wireless charging with a cooling function for optimal device performance. Furthermore, an electric tailgate adds to the vehicle's practicality and user-friendliness.

The advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) suite has also received a significant upgrade. The Enyaq now incorporates predictive adaptive cruise control and advanced blind spot detection, enhancing safety and convenience during journeys. For those seeking even greater parking assistance, remote park assist is available as an optional feature. Moreover, Skoda has prioritized sustainability by offering a wider range of eco-friendly materials for the interior cabin, aligning with the brand's commitment to environmental responsibility.

The refreshed Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe continue to utilize two proven battery pack options, offering capacities of 59 kWh and 77 kWh. However, the notable aerodynamic improvements have translated into a significant increase in driving range. The WLTP-certified range now extends from 431 km to 587 km, depending on the specific model and configuration, a substantial improvement over the previous range of 340 km to 565 km.

At launch, the Enyaq will be available with a selection of three powerful electric powertrain options. The entry-level Enyaq 60, featuring rear-wheel drive, is equipped with a more potent electric motor delivering 201 horsepower. The Enyaq 85, also available in rear-wheel drive, and the Enyaq 85x, offering all-wheel drive, both deliver a robust 282 horsepower, ensuring spirited performance and confident handling. For those seeking exhilarating performance, the high-performance Enyaq vRS is expected to join the lineup in the near future, likely retaining its powerful dual-motor setup and delivering an impressive 335 horsepower.

For customers seeking a more dynamic and visually distinctive appearance, the Sportline trim will be available at launch. This dynamic variant features a unique bodykit, stylish wheels, and a sportier suspension tuning, enhancing both the vehicle's visual appeal and driving dynamics.
