While there is no accurate image from the car but some folks made digital renderings and as they show the car follows a new design language and it has a completely different front facia compared to the current generation. The new C5 will use split-type headlamps, LED taillights, and new bumpers.

As the spy shots prove the new Citroen C5 is not exactly a sedan but it looks like a wagon or hatchback. There are also black plastic wheel arches that give the C5 a more adventure look.

It is said that the new Citroen C5 will be built on the same platform as Peugeot 508. If that statement comes true we can expect a range of petrol, diesel and hybrid engines from the PSA group.

The new Peugeot 508 is available in most markets with a 130 hp turbo diesel, 1.6- liter turbo petrol engine with 160 hp, and a 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid engine with 225 hp.
