Renault just unveiled a new version of its popular EV Zoe called Zoe Van. the Zoe Van is an electric commercial vehicle offers at least one cubic meter of cargo space. Maximum payload is 387 kg which sounds pretty good for a city cargo usage. Zoe Van also features a rubber floor mat to protect the floor. There are also four tightening points to secure the cargo at the rear.
Renault made no change in technical details of the Zoe Van over the standard version. The EV uses an electric motor with 107 hp.the 52 kWh Battery pack provides 394 km of driving range. By using a 50 kW fast-charging system customers can charge 80 percent of the battery in 10 hour and 10 minutes. With a 50 kWh charger customers can gain 150 km of driving range within 30 minutes of charging. Renault Zoe Van can hit 100 kph in 11.4 seconds. As standard, buyers get a 22 kW charger. This type-2 charger can fully charge battery in 3 hours.
Standard features on base trim includes 10-inch digital instrument cluster, 7-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto. LED headlights, cruise control and air-conditioning system.
There is also a higher trim called Business+ with more features like sat-nav, wireless smartphone charger, rear view camera,rear parking sensors, automatic climate control system and 9.3-inch portrait infotainment screen on the dash.
Renault will sell the Zoe Van with the base price of $24,320. Buyers get a five-year 160,000 km warranty for the car and eight-year 160,000 warranty for battery pack.
