Hennessey unveiled the Mammoth 1000 TRX Overland Edition, the world's most potent off-road vehicle based on the RAM 1500 TRX.
The 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 under the hood has been upgraded with Hennessey's high-flow 2.65-liter supercharger, a high-flow induction system, larger fuel injectors, and special calibration, increasing its power and torque to an enormous 1,012 horsepower and 1,314 Nm. As a result, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in 3.2 seconds and complete a quarter mile in 11.4 seconds.
Additionally, the Mammoth 1000 TRX Overland Edition has every feature required for wilderness camping excursions. The modular kit on the back bed includes auxiliary fuel tanks, a pressurized water reservoir, a retractable 55-inch awning, a hard-shell rooftop tent, and a special rack. Access to the sleeping area is provided by a retractable ladder, and many accessories, including a 28-inch splitting axe, a shovel, and LED perimeter lighting, can be mounted on the sides. Additionally, it has the Stage 2 off-road package.
It also rides on Beadlock-style alloy wheels with 37-inch off-road tires. It also includes a leveling kit and custom bumpers with an integrated bull bar and additional LED lights up front.
The Overlanding package costs $19,950 and can be retrofitted to the rear bed of any existing RAM 1500 TRX-based Mammoth build. The daring and extremely powerful model is available from Hennessey as a complete vehicle.
