Although Skoda is very busy with new cars, but it hasn’t forgotten to at least make some new updates on the old models. This time we can see the Skoda Scala, but not the old one, a new one with more powerful engine, and improved face (maybe did a face lift!).
Though this company promised for a Scala RS, but the one here is not a RS. This has been upgraded by ABT, the partnership tuner of Skoda and called as new Scala Edition S. This upgraded model has a four-cylinder 1.5 TSi engine coupled with electric motor. This hatchback has also a six-speed manual gearbox. The new output reaches to 190 hp. It also has 290 Nm of torque. That means 40 hp and 40 Nm more for the new Scala.
By the new trim of high-end Monte Carlo and new power boost, this vehicle should undoubtedly have a better suspension system. So, for the Skoda Scala Edition S a whole new stiffer suspension setup was used which makes ground clearance about 15 mm nearer to the ground. The new wheels are also designed by the ABT and is custom 18-inch wheels.
Inside the cabin the black fabric seats and stainless-steel pedals go well together. About the exterior look, the color options are on the desk. Color choices include Steel Gray, Black Magic Pearl Effect, and this Velvet Red Premium Metallic.
The responsibility of this new Scala is for the Germany section of Skoda. And for now, just 500 examples are going to be produced. As the same time pre-ordering is open to. This new model would cost about €33,790 in Germany. Don’t like it you can try the Scala Monte Carlo for €24,350 or even the Octavia RS (which is more beautiful and also more eye-catching) for €38,940.
