New Honda ZR-V Revealed For China

Honda has unveiled the ZR-V, a new compact SUV model for China. The local Guangqi Honda joint venture will produce the new Honda ZR-V. The ZR-V, which will be unveiled on May 19, is essentially a Chinese counterpart of the Honda HR-V, which will be released in the United States in 2023.

Honda has also stated that the ZR-V moniker will be used for the 2023 European market standard model.

The ZR-specifications V's are yet to be announced, although it's believed to share powertrains with the mechanically related Civic and Honda Integra. It will most likely inherit the turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine in China, but will only be offered in hybrid e:HEV in Europe.

Honda ZR-V

The ZR-external V's design is substantially identical to the HR-V in the United States. The Honda ZR-V for the Chinese market is based on the HR-V for the US market. The bumper intakes are ornamented with glossy black plastic and chrome accents, and the LED headlights have slightly altered graphics.

The panoramic sunroof, which is larger in the ZR-V thanks to twin glass panels, is another modification. Finally, a new chrome feature has been added to the lower half of the bumper, which houses dual exhaust pipes. We'll find out more about the Honda ZR-V in a few weeks when Guangqi Honda officially unveils it.
