The new Audi RS3 for 2022 will be available in the United States this summer. The new RE3 is driven by a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine that produces 401 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. If you haven't noticed now, the European spec vehicle has 394 horsepower, which is somewhat less than the US version.
The RS3 will accelerate from a standstill to 96 km/h in 3.6 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the previous generation. For the European edition, the time is 3.8 seconds.
A set of 6-piston brake calipers at the front offer stopping power, with standard rotors measuring 375mm across at the front and 310mm at the back.
A carbon fiber rear spoiler, side sill inlays, and mirror housings will be available as an optional package. For a more sporty look, the Black optic plus kit includes 19-inch 10-Y-spoke wheels finished in full matte black, black Audi rings and insignia, as well as a Brilliant Black roof.
The RS3's interior features fine Nappa leather upholstery and 8-way power-adjustable front sport seats as standard.
Green highlights can be found on the seat shoulders, the center bars of the air vents, the edging on the seatbelts, and more as part of the optional RS design package.
Standard on the RS3 are 19-inch aluminum 10-Y-spoke wheels with reverse staggered summer performance tires. Optional Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires, which are created exclusively for race tracks, will be available from Audi.
The 2022 Audi RS3 sedan will go on sale in the United States this summer, with a starting price of $58,900.
