Renault has started selling the new Kangoo in Europe, the latest generation of the carmaker's small family van. The new Renault Kangoo will go on sale in its home market of France on April 1 with prices starting at 24,900 Euros that is equal to $29,180.
The style of the new Renault Kangoo may be too similar to the latest Dacia Sandero model, but Renault said that their goal is to push the shoulders and chrome inserts of the new family van to the higher end. Even the basic interior level of the new Kangoo will have LED lights at the front and rear.
The new Renault Kangoo offers more than 49 liters of storage compartments in the cabin, while the luggage compartment is 775 liters. Speaking of this, rear passengers will enjoy the best legroom in this segment, with three full-size seats and sliding doors at the rear to ensure easy entry and exit.
14 driver assistance systems are on board as standard in the new Kangoo, including active emergency braking, cruise control and speed limiter with hill descent control, adaptive cruise control with stop & go and lane departure warning, and active blind-spot monitoring. An all-new Renault Easy Link infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen display is also available.
Under the hood, the new Renault Kangoo incorporates the 100 HP 1.0-liter TCe three-cylinder and the 130 HP 1.3-liter TCe four-cylinder petrol units, just as the 1.5-liter dCi diesel.
