Mercedes-Benz EQA Is Coming To Australia Next Month, Starting Price Of AUS76,800

Mercedes-Benz will launch the new EQA electric crossover in Australia next month with a starting price of AUS76,800 that is equal to US$58,400. This starting price tag is for the EQA 250 while the higher EQA 250 Edition 1 will kick off from AU$84,100 which is equal to US$63,950.

Mercedes-Benz EQA uses a single electric motor with 188 hp and 375 nm of torque powering the front axle. The electric energy comes from a 66.5 kWh battery pack that is mounted under the floor in order to improve weight distribution and lowering the center of gravity. The battery can provide 480 km of driving range.

According to Mercedes-Benz charging the battery from 10 to 80 percent with a Walbox charger takes only 4 hours and 15 minutes.

The EQA 250 comes standard with 19-inch wheels, LED headlights and taillights, adjustable dampers, The MBUX infotainment system, a 10.25-inch center touchscreen, 10.25-inch display in front of the driver as an instrument cluster, electric tailgate, keyless entry and start, heated front seats, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, automatic climate control, digital radio, Artico upholstery, and leather steering wheel.

The EQA 250 Edition one has some extra features like 20-inch alloy wheels, glossy black details, grey and blue leather upholstery with blue stitching, AMG Line exterior trim, flat-bottomed steering wheel, illuminated door sills, AMG pedals, and a unique key with copper accents.

Mercedes’ Driver Assistance Package is also available as standard on both grades that contain smart cruise control, the traffic sign assist, parking assist, and reversing camera.
