Maserati unveiled a new hybrid version of Ghibli. The Ghibli Hybrid features an updated look alongside the technical refinements. Under the hood there is a 2.0-liter petrol engine with 48-volt mild hybrid system. Total output is 330 hp and 450 nm of torque. Maserati Ghibli Hybrid uses an electric supercharger technology called e-Booster. This system gives the Ghibli Hybrid a balanced performance and efficiency.
Maserati stated that the Ghibli Hybrid can sprint from 0 to 100 kph in 5.7 seconds and its top speed is 255 kph. The fuel economy is said to be between 8.5 to 9.6 liters/100 km, not an ideal record for a hybrid car but good number for a Maserati.
Maserati also refreshed Ghibli's look with the use of some blue accents here and there. The brake calipers are also colored in blue and there are blue side vents on the front fenders. Maserati also refreshed the grille and taillights with more modern and sporty designs.
