Lotus Emira V6 First Edition Specs Released

Author: |

Lotus Emira is the company's newest supercar. The Emira will replace the Elise, Exige, and bigger Evora, which are all out of production for the time being. Lotus unveiled the Emira in July, and the company has now disclosed the new supercar's entire specifications and performance data.

Engine And Performance

The Emira V6 First Edition is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine supplied by Toyota and known as the 2GR-FE. The Edelbrock 1740 supercharger on the 2GR-FE Engine produces 400 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque.

The Emira V6 comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, but if you choose the 6-speed automatic transmission, the torque increases to 430 Nm.

The two-pedal version's increased torque and faster gear changes result in a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 4.2 seconds, or a tenth of a second faster than the manual Emira. The new mid-engined British sports vehicle will reach a peak speed of 290 km/h regardless of the gearbox.

Body Design

The diamond-cut 20-inch alloy wheels with a two-tone finish or an alternative glossy black or silver appearance are standard on the First Edition. Lotus-branded brake calipers are specific to the FE, and a tire pressure monitoring system is included as standard equipment.

The Lower Black Pack is standard on all First Edition vehicles, giving the air blades in the front bumper, as well as the front splitter, side sills, and rear diffuser, a glossy black look.

The Driver's Pack adds a Sport or Tour suspension configuration with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport tires or a Sport suspension with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber if purchased.
