As part of its formal launch tour around the country, the Lotus Emira has finally arrived in the United States. The V6 First Edition model will be the first Emira variation to arrive in the United States, according to Lotus. Production will begin in the third quarter of next year, with a starting price of $93,900 in the United States.
A mid-mounted Toyota-sourced 3.5-liter supercharged V6 with 400 horsepower and 430 Nm powers the automobile. The Emira may also be ordered with an AMG 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, however this engine will not be available in the United States until 2023.
The inside of the Emira is available in seven colors: red, black, grey, and tan Nappa leather with black Alcantara upholstery, as well as red, yellow, and grey contrast stitching.
The Drivers Pack, which includes either a Tour suspension configuration with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport tires or a Sport suspension tuning with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, is also standard on models sold in the United States. The roof, wing mirror caps, exhaust finisher, and rear Lotus logo may all be finished in black for an extra $1,400.
