The cost of the 2023 Forte (Cerato), according to information released by Kia, is $400 higher than that of the model from the previous year. The base price of the 2023 Kia Forte is $19,490. Due to the sedan receiving a redesign last fall, the 2023 Forte is basically unchanged. A few changes have been made, including the renaming of the base FE grade to LX and the SULEV30 compliance of the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.

Given that it features halogen headlights and 15-inch steel wheels, the entry-level LX is very simple. A four-speaker music system, cruise control, air conditioning, and an 8-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are all included for buyers.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and High-Beam Assist are just a few of the outstanding array of driver aid features available on the Forte LX. Other notable features include a Rear Occupant Detection Alert, Lane Departure Warning system, Lane Keeping Assist, and Lane Following Assist.

18-inch alloy wheels and LED lighting are highlights of the Forte GT. Additionally, buyers will discover a sport steering wheel covered in leather and front SynTex/cloth seats with the option of heating and ventilation.

Alloy pedals, a dual-zone automatic temperature control system, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system with GPS are additional standout features. A wireless smartphone charger and a six-speaker audio system connect them.

Highway Driving Assist, Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection are now available on the Forte GT with the dual-clutch transmission. The GT's price has increased by $700 from $23,490 to $24,190 due to the additional equipment, which helps to explain why. note that the formerly offered GT Technology Package has been removed.

Customers will find a base 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood, producing 147 horsepower and 179 Nm of torque. The Forte can achieve up to 30 mpg in the city, 41 mpg on the highway, and 34 mpg in the combined cycle thanks to the engine's connection to a continuously variable transmission.

Those that upgrade to the Forte GT are rewarded with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that produces 201 horsepower and 264 Nm of torque. Either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is available for the GT.
