Recently the world witnesses the new born of GS-6, other beautiful car from Karma. Although it looks much familiar, but the same soul of Revero GT’s is still inside the vehicle. That’s still fare, as it remains with same beautiful look. But this hansom vehicle should cost its worth too. So, the $83,900 tag is starting price has no wonder.
This new Karma GS-6 has unveiled just yesterday. This vehicle is available in three type of trims, standard, Luxury and Sport. Yet there is no more detail about the specific options but as we now two 21- or 22-inch wheels could be used on this car. also, the Brembo braking system supports it.
Inside the car has the familiar look . the 10.2-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility is available on it. Other items like heated and ventilated seats, an eight-speaker audio system and over-the-air updates are other items. Also, you can have carbon trims or even choose one of one of five options of colors of leather. Other option for interior is wood salvaged from California wildfires.
GS-6 brought enough safety through eight air bags and an assortment of driver assistance systems including Lane Keep Support and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go. Moreover, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Parking Distance Monitoring and a Surround View Camera System used too.
For all trims same powertrain is used. This e-car is equipped with a 28-kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which feeds two rear-mounted motors. The result is 536 hp output and 746 Nm of torque. With a full charge GS-6 covers 129 km with pure electric motors. The turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine works like generator. By this engine on the circuit, 579 km could be covered.
GS-6 has three different driving modes. The Stealth mode is deeded on the battery. The Sustain mode allows the engine to run to recharge the battery and Sport mode, uses both battery and engine capacity. With the Sport mode you can hit 96 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
For charging the battery it took 4 hours with a Level 2 charger. By a 45 kW DC fast charger just in 34 minutes the battery is 90% charged. This is not the end for GS-6. Later this year, the all-electric GSe-6 will be debuted too. This model will cost at least $79,900 and have a range of up to 300 miles (483 km).
