The first hydrogen fuel cell engine, the AION LX Fuel Cell, has been publicly launched by GAC Ion. According to reports, the new car will achieve a one-key cold start at -30°C and a battery life of over 650 kilometers under NEDC operating conditions after 3-5 minutes of hydrogenation.
AION LX Fuel Cell is based on AION LX in terms of appearance nature, with obvious changes in the details. The most noticeable difference between them is in the front ears. The AION LX Fuel Cell has a wider door arch outline configuration that entirely surrounds the grille under the new vehicle, representing the car's distinctive characteristics.
The new vehicle is built on GAC's proprietary GEP2.0 aluminum alloy pure electric architecture and features the company's first independently planned and integrated fuel cell technology. Its electric drive system has a combined output of 201 hp and a torque of 350 Nm.
