Ford has introduced a range of updates for the 2025 Bronco Sport, and the standout addition is the new Sasquatch package. This package, available for the Outer Banks and Badlands trims, enhances the off-road capabilities of this compact SUV, making it even more suitable for adventures. Alongside this, all 2025 Bronco Sport models now come equipped with larger screens and additional advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) as standard features.

The Sasquatch package gives the Bronco Sport a set of larger, more rugged 29-inch Goodyear Territory All-Terrain tires (235/65/R17), similar to the ones found on the larger Bronco model. These tires are designed to handle tougher terrains and provide better grip during off-road excursions. In addition to the tires, the Sasquatch package includes steel bumpers, extra underbody protection, and integrated tow hooks, which can be incredibly useful if the vehicle gets stuck or needs assistance during off-road adventures.
For the 2025 model year, the Badlands trim has been upgraded with new springs, increasing its ground clearance by 10 mm. When the Sasquatch package is added, the Badlands also benefits from Bilstein rear shocks with position-sensitive dampers and piggyback reservoirs. These upgrades enhance the suspension travel in the rear to 221 mm, which is a 15 mm improvement, allowing the vehicle to better handle rough terrains and provide a smoother ride over obstacles.
Both the Badlands and Sasquatch trims now include a new Rally G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) drive mode. This mode is designed to improve performance on dirt and gravel roads by holding gears longer, sharpening the throttle response, and increasing steering feedback for a more engaging driving experience. Additionally, all 2025 Bronco Sport trims come standard with an Off-Road G.O.A.T. mode, further enhancing their off-road capabilities with standard all-wheel drive.
While the Sasquatch package focuses on rugged upgrades, the overall design of the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport remains largely unchanged, contrasting with the newly updated look of the 2025 Ford Maverick pickup. However, there are some new features, such as modular points on the bumpers, which allow for easy attachment of various accessories, and refreshed wheel designs. For those who choose the Badlands and Sasquatch trims, Ford has also added integrated tie-downs on the front fenders to make securing rooftop gear more convenient.
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Bronco Sport sees significant improvements. All trims now feature a larger 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster as standard equipment. The new infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, making it easier to connect and use smartphones while driving. The digital instrument cluster also comes with new graphics inspired by the Bronco Raptor, adding a modern touch to the vehicle's interior.
In terms of safety and convenience, the 2025 Bronco Sport now includes more ADAS features as standard. These enhancements include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go functionality and Lane Centering, which help reduce driver fatigue and improve safety on the road.
Mechanically, the 2025 Bronco Sport also sees some notable changes. The Outer Banks Sasquatch model, with the 1.5-liter engine, now comes with the twin-clutch rear-drive unit and a locking rear differential, features that were previously only available with the 2.0-liter engine in the Badlands trim. Both engine options are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine now produces 180 horsepower and 271 Nm of torque, which represents a slight decrease of 1 hp but an increase of 10 lb-ft in torque compared to the previous model year. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is exclusive to the Badlands and Badlands Sasquatch trims, delivers 238 horsepower and 373 Nm of torque.
The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is set to arrive at U.S. dealerships in November, initially available in Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands trims. The Sasquatch models will follow in the first quarter of 2025. Pricing information will be released closer to the launch date, but the Outer Banks Sasquatch is expected to start around $40,000, with the Badlands Sasquatch priced closer to $45,000.
