Buick has unveiled the 2024 Envision, a revamped crossover that embraces a new design philosophy and places a greater emphasis on cutting-edge technology. The changes are immediately noticeable, with the model sporting split lighting units, a revised grille that is now lower and wider, a new bumper, a restyled hood, and Buick's modernized tri-shield logo. The rear end has also received updates, including new taillights and a lightly revised bumper. Customers can choose from an updated color palette, including the eye-catching Calypso Blue Metallic and Smokey Amethyst Metallic.
The 2024 Envision features a streamlined lineup, consisting of the Preferred, ST, and Avenir trims. This is a departure from the previous year's model, where the mid-level trim was called the Essence, and the ST package was an optional add-on. The ST trim stands out with its unique grille, black accents, and 20-inch wheels with a Carbon Flash Metallic finish, complemented by a distinctive flat-bottom steering wheel.
One of the most significant changes in the 2024 Envision is the completely reimagined cabin, which now appears worthy of Buick's premium positioning. The old analog gauges and infotainment system have been replaced by a class-leading 30-inch widescreen display. This customizable display allows owners to prioritize their preferred views, switching between multiple widgets such as navigation, vehicle information, audio entertainment, and more. Additionally, the display has Google built-in, providing access to Google Assistant, Google Maps, and the Google Play store.

The Envision's interior has been elevated with higher-quality switchgear, a revised dashboard, and a revamped center console featuring a new rotary controller. The shifter has been moved from the console to the steering column, creating a more streamlined look. The crossover also boasts a new leather-wrapped steering wheel, additional metallic accents, and updated upholstery available in a variety of bold colors, including a Garnet interior with Ebony accents or a Cool Gray interior with Slate Blue elements.
The 2024 Envision comes better equipped with standard features such as a head-up display, multicolor ambient lighting, and a nine-speaker Bose audio system. Safety has also been prioritized, with the crossover now offering adaptive cruise control, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking, IntelliBeam headlights, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, and an HD Surround Vision system.
Under the hood, the Envision retains the familiar turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 228 horsepower and 349 Nm of torque. It is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and a newly standard all-wheel-drive system. The 2024 Buick Envision is slated to arrive at U.S. dealerships this summer, with pricing starting at $37,295 for the entry-level model, including destination charges. The Envision ST will start at $39,795, while the range-topping Avenir carries a base price of $48,395.
