East to West RV Inc., has unveiled its latest addition to the motorhome market—the College Avenue Class C motorhome. This new model carries a name rich with significance, as “College Avenue” is the street in Goshen, Indiana, where Forest River was originally founded. The brand says the new release represents a balance of durability, comfort, and modern design, aiming to appeal to a broad range of RV enthusiasts, from newcomers to seasoned travelers.
The College Avenue Class C brings several floorplan options, giving buyers flexibility based on their travel style and family needs. One of its standout highlights is the versatile sleeping arrangements, which include a rear king bed that can be converted into dual twin beds. There is also a roomy overhead bunk above the cab, designed to comfortably sleep additional passengers, making the vehicle practical for both couples and families.
The interior design draws inspiration from residential living spaces, offering a contemporary, home-like atmosphere. Features include modern finishes, full-size appliances, and layouts that feel closer to a small apartment than a traditional RV. East to West RV emphasizes comfort and livability, with details intended to create a welcoming environment during both short getaways and extended road trips.
When it comes to performance and off-grid capability, the College Avenue also stands out. Buyers can equip their motorhome with an optional E-Gen package, which includes lithium batteries, a secondary alternator, and a 600-watt solar array. Paired with dual A/C units, this setup ensures reliable climate control and power even in remote locations. The solar system, in particular, reflects a growing demand for RVs that support boondocking—the practice of camping without hookups at traditional RV parks.
On the construction side, the motorhome is built on a proven Ford E-450 chassis powered by a 7.3-liter gasoline engine, ensuring both durability and sufficient towing capacity for trailers, bikes, or other outdoor gear. The body features a one-piece molded fiberglass front cap and laminated sidewalls with Azdel composite backing, materials chosen for their lightweight strength, insulation benefits, and resistance to water damage.
Additional thoughtful touches make the College Avenue especially attractive to modern buyers. Pet-friendly ventless floors are designed for easy cleaning and improved durability, while a mudroom-style nook helps keep the living space tidy. Multiple USB-C charging ports are included, supporting the increasing number of devices travelers carry on the road.
Tony Young, Motorized General Manager at East to West RV, explained that the new College Avenue continues the company’s tradition of offering strong value. “The College Avenue marries design with functionality, ensuring comfort on every trip,” he said. “Like our flagship Entrada brand, it delivers competitive pricing without sacrificing quality.”
The College Avenue made its public debut at the Forest River Product Expo in Elkhart, Indiana, a major event where RV dealers and industry professionals gather to see upcoming models. With its flexible design, residential feel, and optional energy upgrades, the College Avenue is positioned to compete directly with other mid-size Class C RVs on the market, appealing to both budget-conscious buyers and those seeking advanced off-grid features.
