Cadillac CT-V as a small sedan is equipped with a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine. This engine has the 325-hp output power and 380 pound-feet of torque. Also, Cadillac CT4-V has the all-Wheel Drive technology. It has also a 10-speed gearbox. the company claims CT4-V hits 60 MPH in 4.9 Seconds.
Its time for Cadillac CT5-V. The engine of this car is bigger than the CT4-V (Twin-Turbocharged 3.0-liter V6) and of course higher horsepowers (360 Horsepower). This vehicle also delivers 405 pound-feet torque to the wheels. Unlike the CT4-V, CT5-V has the Rear-Wheel Drive. On the other hand, it has the same gearbox as its smaller version. it is also written, Cadillac CT5-V hits 60MPH in 4.6 seconds. To not be forgotten, CT5-V is heavier than CT4-V.
By this information the results are predictable but it is worthy to be aware of some facts.at first it seems that CT4-V had a bad start and just in seconds CT5-V makes a great cap between them and despite of the drivers tries, he couldn’t vanish the gap and reach the CT5-V and for certain the big one wins the race.
But there are some points here. Although Cadillac released that CT4 hits 100 kph in 4.9 seconds, but as it could be seen the time is actually 8.02 seconds. And Cadillac CT5-V is also slower than the companies claims! It took 5.52 seconds to reach 100 kph. Less than one seconds delay for CT5-V is acceptable some factors like the surface cleanness or drives skills play role but the time for CT4-V? is there anything wrong with it?
