BSTC Introduced the Most Powerful AMG GT

A Mercedes-AMG GT R is loaded with pieces from the Pro model in the company's latest effort under the BSTC-Performance name. The stock AMG GT R has a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 with 577 horsepower, thus BS Teile Center's car is far more powerful. The original turbochargers have been replaced with Weistec Engineering W.4 turbochargers. An ARMA carbon-fiber intake, Wagner air coolers, and IPE downpipes with 200-cell sport catalytic converters are among the upgrades.

The engine has been heavily modified to produce 891 horsepower. Even when compared to Mercedes-own AMG's GT Black Series, which stands at the top of the line, BS Teile Center's invention is stunning. Its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine has a flat-plane crankshaft and produces 720 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque.

The original AMG GT R's seven-speed gearbox has been retained, but BS Teile Center has updated it with a stronger clutch. This should make the transmission more capable of handling the enormous power increase.

Any of the outward changes benefit from the BS Teile Center's access to used AMG components.

A GT R Pro provided the front bumper, fender flares, side skirts, rear wing, bumper, and diffuser. The headlights and taillights are new, and the builder puts its name on either side of the body with a stripe.

The titanium gray matte finish 20-inch wheels are also from a GT R Pro. They're wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

This upgrade is also done to the brake system. The gold calipers from the GT R are replaced with black ones from a GT R Pro.

Though it has more power on wheels, the tuned GT Pro lacks the aero goodies of the Black Series, such as an electronically adjustable section of the rear wing and nine levels of selectable traction control.
