BMW introduced a new special edition for its flagship coupe model 8 series called Golden Thunder Edition. The package is available for the entire 8 series range from 840i to M850i xDrive and adds some design tricks and equipment. The package is also available for both Coupe and Gran Coupe models.
As the name Golden Thunder, there are golden parts across the body. BMW applied golden accent on side skirts, rear bumper, front bumper, mirror caps, rear spoiler and 20-inch M alloy wheels.
There are two colors available for body paint named Sapphire Black metallic and Frozen Black metallic. Last but not least BMW added the M sports brake system with black painted calipers for 8 Series Golden Thunder Edition.
Entering the cabin you’ll notice exclusive black leather trim with Edition Golden Thunder emblem in headrests, Alcantara roof liner, and aluminum trim with golden mesh effect.
Finally, BMW equipped the Golden Thunder Edition with the professional Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround sound system. BMW hasn’t released any pricing information for 8 Series Golden Thunder Edition.
