Bentley Revealed V8 Engine For Flying Spur Model

Bentley has revealed the V8 version of its Bentley Flying Spur super sedan in both four and five-seat configurations. The car uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine which is 200 kg lighter than the W12 engine of the normal model. The engine can produce 542 hp and 700 nm of torque. Bentley Flying Spur can hit 100 kph in 4 seconds and hit the top speed of 318 kph.

The V8 Flying Spur is a more driver-focused car than before as Matthias Rabe, Member of the Board for Engineering at Bentley Motors said:

Based on our research, customer feedback and trends of customer usage, the new Flying Spur V8 has been engineered to deliver driver-focused ability, whilst offering passengers the refinement, comfort, and technology expected from a grand limousine

Standard features for the Flying Spur include an adaptive air suspension, torque vectoring by brake, and Drive Dynamics Control. AWD system is also available as an extra-cost option.

While Bentley hasn't announced pricing detail for the new Flying Spur V8 the car will enter the UK market by late 2020.
