Approximately 10 months after the brand's initial unveiling of the production-ready Avatr 11 in November of last year, the car has now gone on sale in China. The EP1 platform serves as the foundation for the Avatr 11, which was developed by a joint venture between Changan Automobile, lithium-ion battery manufacturer CATL, and Huawei.

A pair of electric motors with a combined output of 578 horsepower and 650 Nm power the Avatr 11. These motors were created by Huawei and have a 265 horsepower unit driving the front wheels and a 313 horsepower motor at the back. In their basic configuration, these motors are powered by either a 90.38 kWh battery pack or, in the flagship variant, a 116.79 kWh battery pack.

According to Avatr, 11 can accelerate from a complete stop to 100 km/h in 3.98 seconds and maintain that pace all the way to a restricted top speed of 200 km/h. Variants with the 90.38 kWh battery can travel 555 km on the Chinese testing cycle, while vehicles with the 116.79 kWh battery can travel 680 km. According to Car News China, the SUV can be charged at 240 kW, allowing 200 km of range to be added in as little as 10 minutes.

Avatr 11 has dimensions of 4,880 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,601 mm in height in addition to a 2,975 mm wheelbase.
