A new Nightshade Edition and a few tweaks are coming to the Toyota Camry. The Camry enters the 2023 model year with a revised Nightshade Special Edition, as the midsize sedan reaches its 40th anniversary.
The Nightshade package adds eye-catching 19-inch alloy wheels with a matte bronze finish to Camry SE vehicles with front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, and hybrid powertrains.
A TRD-inspired front fascia, a sport-tuned suspension, and black badging round out the Nightshade Edition's features. A black rear spoiler and black mirror covers complete the look.
Toyota announced that three engine options will be available once again. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine provides 206 horsepower and 252 Nm of torque, while the 3.5-liter V6 engine delivers 301 horsepower and 362 Nm of torque.
The Camry will be available in a variety of trim levels and engines for the 2023 model year. LE, XLE, SE, SE Nightshade, and XSE are the five FWD trim levels and five AWD grades. The hybrid variant has the same five trim options and a combined fuel efficiency rating of 52 miles per gallon.
New Reservoir Blue, Midnight Black, and White have been added to the sedan's color pallet.
