For the 2022 model year, the Suzuki Across received minor changes that prioritized faster charging. This changes in 2023 when the plug-in hybrid SUV receives the updated infotainment touchscreen and digital instrument cluster from the RAV4 twin's most recent facelift. The outdated 9-inch infotainment has been replaced with a 10.5-inch display. Thankfully, the larger touchscreen still has a physical volume knob even though it lacks any physical buttons. Apple CarPlay now supports wireless connectivity, but Android Auto still needs a wired connection.
In addition, the system now includes built-in navigation, in contrast to its predecessor where the navigation shortcut was merely decorative.
The 2023 Across comes in a single trim level named Comfot+ that includes all the features you could want in a contemporary D-SUV. Standard features include 19-inch alloy wheels, full-LED lighting, heated seats, leather upholstery with red stitching, dual-zone air conditioning, an electronic tailgate, and a ton of ADAS in addition to the updated digital cockpit.
The Toyota-sourced plug-in hybrid powertrain is only offered with the Suzuki Across and will not be changed for 2023. It has a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors that together produce 302 horsepower. The E-Four AWD system distributes power to all four wheels. The floor-mounted 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery extends the zero-emission range to up to 75 km.
2023 Across costs €58,190 in Germany, making it the most expensive model in Suzuki's portfolio.
