2023 Mercedes EQT Electric Minivan Specs

The all-electric EQT van's production model has been unveiled by Mercedes. The vehicle's camper version has been hinted at by the automaker in the Concept EQT Marco Polo1.

Mercedes will first release the EQT with a short wheelbase, which measures 4,498 millimeters long by 1,859 millimeters wide by 1,819 millimeters high. A longer wheelbase variant is anticipated to follow.

The grille has normal headlights, a lower grille piece, and slats for airflow. To set it apart from the T-Class, to which it is closely connected, the production version does at least have its own grille and a few design elements.

A pop-up tent has been added to the Concept EQT Marco Polo1 camping equipment, giving occupants enough space to stand up straight. The fold-out bed in the EQT Marco Polo1 is 2 x 1.15 meters in size. A 1.97 x 0.97 m sleeping area with a point-elastic disc spring system is also included in the roof tent for added comfort. It contains two bench seats for your waking hours, a washing machine, a tiny 16-liter fridge, drawers for camping gear, and a washing machine. Additionally, it has a fold-out table for meals and a pull-out gas cooker.

The Mercedes EQT has a manufacturer-estimated range of 282 km and employs a 45 kWh battery pack. A small 121 hp motor with 245 Nm of torque is propelled by the battery pack. That might not provide driver acceleration comparable to an AMG, but it should be adequate for the compact van.

The production model of the larger battery, which actually drives the vehicle, can be charged at a DC fast-charging station from 0 to 80 percent in just 38 minutes. On regular plugs, it can also be charged more slowly.
