2023 Lexus ES To Get Updated In Europe

Author: |

The Lexus ES's sixth-generation debuted in 2018 and had a facelift in 2021. Currently, Lexus has made a number of improvements to the ES sedan available in Europe. The speedier, more user-friendly, and feature-rich unit advantages the European ES. Additional upgrades include a new F Sport Design trim and more technological features.

Despite the fact that Lexus withheld information on the new infotainment system's center touchscreen's size, it is most likely 12.3 inches. Although Android Auto now supports wireless connectivity, Apple CarPlay still needs a wired connection. Additionally, cloud-based navigation is available, providing real-time updates on traffic, fuel costs, and parking.

The ES can now link to mobile networks and the internet, as well as integrate the e-Care function that continuously monitors the vehicle and tells the owner when maintenance is required. This is made possible by the new data communication module (DCM1). The Lexus Link smartphone app can be used to access remote control features as well.

The voice recognition program has also received an update. The system has also been updated and now responds to informal commands and is compatible with 19 different European languages.

Lexus has also applied an array of changes inside the cabin. It now includes two cupholders, USB-A and USB-C connections, as well as a redesigned, more convenient wireless charging pad. Last but not least, Rich Cream has been replaced with the new Ammonite Sand interior trim option.

Along with giving a selection of 10 exterior and four interior colors, Lexus also offers the F Sport Design trim, which is identified by its 19-inch alloy wheels that have been painted black and F Sport Design logos on the fenders.

The 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine in the ES300h will continue to be an option, and there are no outward changes to the powertrain system.

Lexus made no mention of whether or not the US-spec cars will receive the same improvements.
