Kia has shown the redesigned Soul for the 2023 model year, which will be available this summer. The Kia Soul has been revamped with a new external design, new colors, and two extra packages. The Soul no longer has the option of a turbocharged engine, and the sporty X-Line model is no longer available.

In the depicted GT-Line variant, the front bumper has been modified with narrow DRLs, aluminum-style trim, and a huge central intake with a modern pattern.

The headlight, which no longer has the split design of its predecessor, is undoubtedly the most noticeable modification. As an added expense, LED headlights are also available.

Except for the entry-level LX, all grades come standard with a 10.25-inch infotainment system with a navigation touchscreen. Forward Collision Avoidance Assist Pedestrian, Lane Keeping and Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention and Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Rear Occupant Alert are among the active safety features that come standard.

The LX Technology Package adds Blind Spot Collision Avoidance and Rear Cross Collision Avoidance to the LX, as well as a set of 16-inch wheels.

The GT-Line Technology Package, for example, takes ADAS to the next level. The combination of radar and camera sensors, as well as the more sophisticated Highway Drive-Assist and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control, add Junction Turning functionality to the Forward Collision Avoidance Assist.

The GT-Line Technology Package adds LED headlights and taillights, as well as high-gloss woodwork, a premium Harman/Kardon audio system with LED speaker lights, heated front seats, a power driver's seat, a cargo cover, and a dual-level cargo floor to the interior.

Only a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 147 hp and 178 Nm of torque is offered in the 2023 Soul. It's only coupled to a CVT, which sends power to the front wheels.

The price of the 2023 Kia Soul will be revealed in the coming months, closer to the market launch.
