Skoda has launched the redesigned Karoq, which receives a mid-life facelift to stay fresh and competitive in the highly competitive C-SUV segment. The Skoda Karoq has been updated with minor cosmetic changes, more fuel-efficient engines, and additional technology, safety, and comfort amenities inside the cabin.

The redesigned front-end design features smaller double headlights with full-LED Matrix technology. Other improvements include a revised bumper with a wider lower intake, air curtains, and a hexagonal grille that is common across the Skoda lineup.

Aside from the fresh new alloy wheel styles with a diameter of 17, 18, or 19 inches, the side looks identical. Body-colored aprons, gloss black highlights, tinted windows, and standard 18-inch alloys with optional 19-inch wheels distinguish the Skoda Karoq SportLine specification level.

It's the same situation in the back, where the bumper has been changed to improve airflow.

The appearance of the face Skoda Karoq has a length of 4,390 mm, which is 8 mm longer than its predecessor. The FWD models have a wheelbase of 2,638 mm, while the AWD model has a wheelbase of 2,630 mm.

The cabin has been updated as well, with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster as standard and a bigger 10.25-inch one as an option. This is complemented by four new infotainment systems with touchscreens ranging from 6.2 to 9.2 inches, depending on the model level. The third-generation modular infotainment systems Amundsen and Columbus, which integrate an eSIM for over-the-air map and software updates, feature applications such as news, weather forecast, and calendar. The systems are compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and owners may use the MyKODA app to remotely access their vehicle.

The regular load area is 521 liters, but with the rear seats folded, it expands to 1,630 liters.

The facelifted Karoq has up to nine airbags and a variety of ADAS, including Park Assist, Trailer Assist, Crew Protect Assist, Area View, and the optional Travel Assist, which includes five to eight systems.

The EVO family of petrol and diesel engines is carried over to the Karoq.

The 1.0 TSI three-cylinder engine produces 108 horsepower and is only available with a six-speed manual transmission, the 1.5 TSI four-cylinder engine produces 148 horsepower and is available with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG, and the flagship 2.0 TSI four-cylinder engine produces 187 horsepower and is only available with the seven-speed DSG.

There's also a 2.0 TDI four-cylinder diesel with 114 or 148 horsepower, a manual or DSG transmission, and optional all-wheel-drive on the most powerful version. The Karoq SportLine model is the most powerful, and it is only available with an all-wheel drive.

The revised Karoq will be manufactured in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, and China, with distribution in 60 countries.
