Lexus unveiled its improved IS 500 F Sport Performance car in early 2021. The sport sedan is one of the market's final automobiles with a V8 engine. The IS 500 F's naturally aspirated 5.0-liter v8 engine can produce 472 horsepower, making it the most powerful car among its primary rivals, which include the Mercedes-AMG C 43, Audi S4, and BMW M340i, all of which have fewer than 400 hp.
It also has a rear performance damper supplied by Yamaha, which increases structural stiffness and provides additional stability. The front brakes are 14.0 inches long and the rear brakes are 12.7 inches long.
The Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, which features pedestrian recognition, emergency steering help, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert with steering aid, automatic high lights, and more, is standard on the IS 500 F Sport Performance.
The sedan gets a more aggressive aspect thanks to a hood bulge that adds 2.0 inches of clearance. The fenders have been widened to accommodate Enkei-sourced 19-inch split-10-spoke wheels.
Lexus adds a few modest changes to the inside. There is a heated steering wheel as standard, as well as various pedals. The instrument panel includes a one-of-a-kind starting animation. F Sport Performance emblems may also be seen around the interior.
The IS 500 F Sport is priced starting at $56,500. When you factor in the obligatory $1,075 delivery fee, the total cost is $57,575.
