2022 Honda Civic Starts At AU$47,200

The 11th-generation Honda Civic Hatch is now available in Australia for AU$47,200 (about $33,700). In comparison to the 10th generation, it was offered in Australia for AU$31,000 as a starting price.

Honda Australia has opted to market the VTi-LX is a single, well-equipped model.

Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Traffic Jam Assist, Driver Attention Monitor, a 9-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay, Qi wireless phone charger, over-the-air updates, an acoustic windshield, heated and auto-retractable side mirrors, a Plasmacluster ion-based air purification system, four-way electrically adjustable front passenger seat, and ambient door trim and front footwell light are among the features that come standard with the Civic VT.

Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking, and Road Departure Mitigation are examples of driver assistance systems. Auto High-Beams, Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, and a Traffic Sign Recognition System are also included.

The 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine in the Civic Hatch VTi-LX produces 175 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 240 Nm of torque. The front wheels are driven by the engine, which is connected to a continuously variable gearbox.

The Civic VTi-LX comes with three driving modes: ECON, Normal, and a new Sport mode.
