The Chevy Corvette C8 is already in its third model year, and prospective purchasers of the first mid-engine Vette understandably want to know the price for the 2022 model year.
The 2022 Corvette 1LT Coupe will cost $62,195, while the Corvette Convertible will cost $69,695.
The prior pricing indicates a $1,200 rise throughout the spectrum, however, the price increase is really $1,000. Keep in mind that the destination fee has also been raised by $200.
There are some price increases, such as the Z51 Performance Package at $6,345, the E60 Front Lift option at $2,260, Black Trident Wheels at $2,995, and the High Wing at $1,250, but the 5VM ground effects package has been reduced from $4,895 to $4,445.
A low-profile spoiler, priced at $595, will be available as an option for the 2022 Corvette. It's also the model year for the Corvette Stingray IMSA GTLM Championship Edition, which will cost $6,595 more than a 3LT trim with the Z51 Performance Package.
Chevrolet also introduced three new hues for the 2022 Corvette: Amplify Orange Tintcoat, Hypersonic Gray Metallic, and Caffeine.
The engine of the C8 has also been upgraded, with a redesigned fuel injection system and Active Fuel Management system that does not change the engine's power.
The 2022 Corvette C8 will continue to produce 490 horsepower and 630 Newton-meters of torque, or 495 hp and 637 Newton-meters of torque with the optional Performance Exhaust.
