Nissan announced some new updates for the latest generation of the Micra. You might think that this update is a mild facelift but it is anything rather than a major visual change. The 2021 Nissan Micra now will be available with a new trim called N-Design. Changes for the new trim contain new 16-inch alloy wheels, black cloth seats with grey accents, a leather-look for the door cards, kneepads and front panel, and Energy Orange trim.
There is another trim called N-Sport for the Micra. This trim comes with new 17-inch black alloy wheels, LED front fog lamps and headlights as standard, Alcantra interior, and ergonomic seats.
The existing Tekna trim has also been updated and now it benefits from standard Around View Monitor, moving object detection and Blind Spot Warning, Bose premium sound system, NissanConnect infotainment system, TomTom satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Siri voice recognition.
Nissan has also updated the 2021 Micra’s safety by adding Hill Start Assist, Intelligent Ride Control, Intelligent Trace Control, Safety Pack with High Beam Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Recognition and Intelligent Lane Intervention as standard on all trims.
Under the hood, the 2021 Nissan Micra uses a 1.0-liter petrol engine with 70 hp that supports Euro 6 emission standard as well.
