Kia Motors has launched the new model of Kia Sorento in the UK. The pricing for the entry-level trim starting price is $50,810. The base model Sorento is still a well-equipped car with LED Headlights and taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control system, 8-inch infotainment system, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and DAB radio.
A higher grade called Sorento 3 comes standard with 19-inch wheels, glossy black grille, chrome door handles, black leather upholstery, power front seats, heated front, and rear seats, ambient lighting, UVO Connect system, keyless entry and start and an electric tailgate. The price for this model starts from $53,950.
The range-topping Sorento 4 with $61,405 offers Nappa leather interior. Memory for driver seat, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, head-up display, and BOSE sound system.
The 2021 Kia Sorento uses a 1.6-liter hybrid engine with a 1.49 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The combined output is 226 hp and 265 nm of torque. Kia Sorento with this engine consumes only 6.9 l/100km. It also comes standard with 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system.
Buyers who are interested in diesel engines can order the 2.2-liter CRDi turbo diesel engine with 8-speed automatic transmission and AWD system. This engine can pump out 199 hp and 440 nm of torque and its fuel consumption is 6.7 l/100 km.
