2021 Kia Carnival Officially Revealed, The First GUV

Kia officially revealed its the 2021 model of its biggest minivan, Carnival (Sedona in some markets) as a Grand Utility Vehicle.

Kia Carnival sold as Kia Sedona in the U.S has not been updated since 2014. Now the 2021 model shows a new design language with a more dynamic style. Changes through the outside can bee seen on the headlights, grille (known as a Tiger Nose), LED DRLs, and the new bumper with air intakes.

Kia also increased the Wheelbase in order to give passengers more comfort. From the side view, we can detect some accents from the latest Kia Sorento. At the rear, the newest part is the LED light bar. Unfortunately, Kia hasn’t released any photo from the cabin yet.

2021 Kia Carnival Engine

Power for 2021 Kia Carnival may provide by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 277 hp and 421 NM of torque but other options yet to announce. We also expect the 1.6-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine with a 1.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and the combined power of 227 hp and 350 NM of torque.
