Chinese automakers are occupying the whole world. There is no wonder to see their works around. This time JAC has unveiled its new JS4 with two type of engines in Chile. The face of this SUV is futuristic, and as the same time a bit boxy. Anyway, it would be reasonably a good choice for many ranges.
JS4 could be one of the success for the JAC company, as it covers many ranges of power needed in many ranges of price tags too. This car will be debated with two kind of engines, a 1.6-liter aspirated with 118 hp and another one is a 1.5 turbo with 147 hp of power, which could go with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed CVT gearbox. Then the subdivision will expand to 8 versions and many trim levels.
This vehicle is 4,410 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,660 mm high along with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm. the minimum ground clearance is 200 mm and has 520-liter cargo space. The main look of this vehicle is an art work of Italy headquarter of JAC. In front of this car we see parallel lines with 17-inch rim alloy wheel design, roof bars, halogen and daytime LED lights in each of its versions. Behind the car, the fog lights, exterior mirrors with turn signals, reverse sensor and sunroof too.
Inside the car, high quality of used materials is one of the crucial things. Also, some facilities and features depending on the version of car, is used. The 10.25-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and the same sized instrumental panel screen, and the automatic climate control are on the vehicle. Also, Eco leather seats, electric trunk release, A / C outlet rear seats, and USB on the back are considered to be used inside the vehicle.
The safety issue on this JS4, is seen as an important thing, as company armed its new vehicle with many necessary items. As told before two type of engine is used on this car. The first one is with 118 hp output. It delivers 150 Nm in the idle range of 3,500-4500 RPM with the 6-speed manual gearbox. It burns 13.3 liters of fuel in every 100 kilometers. The second engine has 147 hp output. It transmits 210 Nm of torque to the wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT with the same amount. It can accelerate to 100 km in just 9,8 seconds and consumes 12.2 liters of fuel in every 100 kilometers on the manual gearbox and 12.7 Km/lts on the CVT gearbox.
As told, the subdivision could be a comfort one or the luxury or even the advance version. The price tags start from $ 14,100 to $19,800. JS4 has been debuted in 26th of April and it has a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty.
