Ford has officially took cover from its EcoSport Active compact crossover. The 2021 Ford EcoSport Active features body protection made from black plastic, Active badge on the front fenders, wheel arches, new set of 17-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, black roof, new tailgate and increased ground clearance.
Inside the cabin there are A badge on the seats and new infotainment system with 8-inch screen.
Under the hood, Ford EcoSport Active uses a 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol engine that can produce 123 hp and 200 nm of torque. The engine is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. The engine power goes to the front axle as well. Ford claims that the 2021 EcoSport Active consumes only 5.9-6.0 l/100km of petrol and its CO2 emission is 136-137 g/km.
Pricing for the 2021 Ford EcoSport Active starts from $28,248 in the UKwhich is a little more expansive than the base model EcoSport and the Puma.
