2021 DS 4 Revealed With Major Updates, A Pretty French Car

It has been years since French automakers were preparing to compete with BMW X1 and BMW X2 and now their final product is ready to go on sale under the DS brand. Here is the 2021 DS 4 compact crossover. DS is a luxury brand created by Citroen in 2009 and has a reputation for making high-quality luxury cars. Buyers can choose between 130, 180, and 225 hp engines that are all from PureTech engine families from the PSA group. There is also a diesel option, BlueHDi with 130 hp. There will be a plug-in hybrid powertrain as well that combines a 180 hp gasoline engine with a 110 hp electric motor with a combined output of 225 hp. The PHEV DS 4 can travel up to 50 km on EV zero-emission mode according to WLTP.

Buyers can also choose different trims between SUV-like DS 4 Crossback and a sporty-looking DS 4 Performance Line. There are also many interior trim options depending on the version you buy. Depending on a trim and version buyers can get Alcantra or Nappa interior for their 2021 DS 4.

Some new features of the 2021 DS 4 are a 690-watt Focal sound system, built-in air purifier, augmented reality for the head-up display, level 2 semi-autonomous driving system, and etc.
