2020 BMW X6 Introduced By Hamann With Extra Kit

Coupe crossovers and SUVs becoming more popular every day, although they are not the most practical cars that you can find still many people love them mostly because of their looks. BMW X6 is probably the most famous one in this segment and now its latest generation is available with a new body kit from Hamann tuning company.

The new body kit is available for all trims and adds a new front spoiler, aggressive wheel arch covers, rear diffuser, two rear wings, quad tailpipes with 101 mm of diameter, new wheels, and a tuned suspension system that lowered the ride by 25 mm.

Hamann has always been known for its beautiful rims and these new 22 or 23-inch wheels are also very attractive. These wheels are known as Anniversary Evo rims and are available in Graphite Grey, Black Line, and Hyper Silver colors.

Inside the cabin, there are also changes like sports pedals and footrest, special floor mats, and their own emblem replacing the BMW logo on the steering wheel.

No Technical Changes

While Hamann has made no technical changes over the engine and transmission but the new X6 is available gasoline and diesel engines. The base model is known as X6 sDrive40i and it comes standard with a 3.0liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder that pumps out 335 hp and 447 Nm of torque. This engine is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission supplied by the ZF. The BMW X6 sDrive40i is a rear-wheel drive SUV and can hit 100 kph in 5.2 seconds and reach the limited top speed of 250 kph. Buyers who want similar technical with an all-wheel drive system can go for the BMW X6 sDrive40i model.

The more powerful model is called M50i and it has a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 which cranks out 523 hp750 Nm of torque. This model can go from 0 to 100 kph in 4.1 seconds. Diesel models are also available for European buyers in BMW X6 xDrive30d and X6 xDrive M50d variants with six and eight-cylinder turbodiesel engines.
