Nissan has revealed an all-new Nissan Pathfinder for the 2022 model year with significantly new designs and technologies. The look of the 2022 Pathfinder has completely refreshed with new headlights and grille. The overall look of the car has driven from the new Patrol. In terms of size, the new Nissan Pathfinder measures 5,004 mm long, 1,979 mm wide, and 1,778 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,901 mm. Two-tone paint is also available as an option.

Nissan also decided to keep its -liter V6 engine under the hood and not reduce the engine displacement like many other automakers these days.

The 3.5-liter engine is not new and we can see it on other Nissans as well. It can pump out 284 hp and 350 nm of torque. The good news is that Nissan Pathfinder comes with a new 9-speed automatic transmission rather than a CVT. While there are no EPA fuel consumption figures yet but Nissan said that the new Pathfinder has better fuel economy thanks to its new transmission.

The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder also offers seven driving modes (standard, sport, eco, snow, sand, mud/rut, and tow) so we can be happy that it is returning to its original position in the market and off-road lovers will again come back to Pathfinder. The towing capacity is also said to be around 3 tons.

Nissan Pathfinder can carry eight passengers (unless you opt for the second-row captain’s chairs) in three rows and all passengers can enjoy USB ports. There is also a good space for goodies and bags. Buyers can order cloth, leather, or quilted semi-aniline leather-appointed seats as well. Other highlights inside the cabin are heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, three-zone automatic climate control system, a rearview camera, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, auto hold, stop/start system, 9-inch infotainment screen, optional Bose sound system with 13 speakers, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Nissan Connect. and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Nissan also could decrease engine noise inside the cabin by using laminated glass, thicker windows, and new insulation for the door and floor.

The 2022 Pathfinder also benefits from the new ProPILOT Assist on its S and SV trims that offers steering assistance with adaptive cruise control.

Nissan hasn't released any pricing information yet, but it said that deliveries would probably start from this summer.
